About Taos

Taos is a mountain man from Colorado. We added Taos to our herd several years ago. He is somewhat of a loner (as most mountain men are) and it took him a long time to settle down and make friends with the other boys. In fact, Taos paced back and forth for so long that he forged his own path by the fence.

Taos attended alpaca shows on a regular basis and always came out on top - as you can see. He is a magnificent alpaca, but he still doesn't seem to know what to make of the Rosche family.

This year I blended Taos' fiber with a similar colored angora rabbit fiber. The result swere excellent!!
