Little Guy's Yarn

About Little Guy

Little Guy has been a very social alpaca since the day he was born.  In fact, if he could talk, the first words out of his mouth would clearly have been, "Hi guys, here I am."  Ever since his first day on this earth, Little Guy has bounced around following us everywhere we go.  And, now that he is grown up, he also gives kisses.  We often take him to Farmer's Markets, since he loves the attention he receives and gives most of his admirers kisses.

Although Little Guy likes to fight with the other boy alpacas (and often wins), he is as sweet as can be to humans.  When the other alpacas are given attention before Little Guy gets his fair share, he looks at us as though he is completely dumbfounded that we would even consider giving attention to any other alpaca but him.

Here is Little Guy as a cria                                                                                              Here is Little Guy today.

Little Guy is a non-breeding male.   While his fleece is not as dense as we would use for our breeding stock, it is quite fine and makes a lovely yarn.   Today, we really must call him, "Not so Little Guy,"  as you can see in the photo to the right.
