Geneva's Alpaca Yarn from Maryland's Pax River Alpacas

About Geneva

Geneva was born on the 26th of June in the middle of a torrential downpour. She was in no hurry to get up and run around - frankly, I think she liked life inside the uterus a bit too much. She had us worried for the first few weeks of life, but we have come to learn that she is just very laid back. Geneva does not seem to have a worry in the world - well, with the exception of food. She does love to eat

Geneva is classified as a medium rose gray color. Her coloring is simply lovely. When she was a cria (baby), her fleece had a luminescent shine to it. She was such an adorable cria, we hated to see her grow up. But she did, and she is still sweet and laid back. Geneva likes to hum a lot, (I don't think she can remember the words) although none of her tunes are discernable to me.

Geneva has been blessed with a very dense, very lovely fleece - that won her two blue ribbons and two second place ribbons. Geneva's unique coloring brought her lots of attention at every show she attended. Her fleece has made a gorgeous yarn. We also had some of Geneva's fleece variegated with that of her buddy, Tblisi (see photo below) for a very attractive blend.

Geneva now lives in New York state.
